About our service “lino”.

What is lino?
lino is a web-based sticky note service.
What is the web-based sticky note service?
This service provides its registered users (lino users) with virtual stickies operable on a web browser along with “canvas”, a user specific bulletin board-like online area. Both lino users and non-registered users (guests) can post stickies on a canvas, and relocate or remove them when needed. A lino user can choose public access level for each of his/her canvases from three levels; “Public” (publicly accessible), “Friends” (limitedly accessible), and “Private”(non-accessible except by its creator).
What would be possible usage of lino?
lino can be used for managing to-do, organizing ideas, exchanging ideas with friends or colleagues, and so on. lino has a feature that lets lino users and guests (with conditions) post pictures on a canvas via Email, and this feature may be used to create a shared picture gallery on a canvas with friends, family, and etc.
How can I use this service?
To use all the features lino provides, please create a free lino account. Use of OpenID is also available for creation of a lino account. Non-registered users (guests) may also be able to browse public canvases of lino users and post stickies on them (with conditions).
What is OpenID?
OpenID is a URL-based ID which can be used to login to any OpenID-enabled service all over the world. lino is one of the OpenID-enabled services, and for instance, a Yahoo ID can be used to login to lino.
For further details, please visit OpenID.net (http://openid.net/).
How is lino different from a desktop sticky notes application?
Unlike a desktop sticky notes program, lino users can use lino on any computer that has a lino compatible web browser. That means you can login to your lino account using a computer at home, at school, at work, and even using a cell phone. In addition, lino users can set certain canvases of theirs to be publicly accessible and let other lino users and guests post stickies on them.
Who is the service provider?
lino has been developed by Infoteria Corporation and run by Infoteria Online.
Operating environment for lino (About lino compatible web browsers)
